About Lea Hall Allotments & Institute

Lea Hall Allotments & Institute formed way back in 1920 and our original members went on to purchase the Georgian property itself - as well as the accompanying land - soon after. Aside from lockdown during the pandemic, our doors have always been open and our facilities offer the perfect environment for conversation and fun.

We have a well-stocked bar as well as snooker tables, a pool table, a bowling green and a darts board. Aside from our facilities, we have always got something on the go, from live entertainment and bingo to karaoke and line dancing. We have also got a number of allotments on site if you have got green fingers. Looking for a place to hold a reception? Our two dedicated function rooms are perfect venues and given the friendly atmosphere we provide and first-class service, we are confident that you and your guests will have a good time here. We know that COVID-19 remains a concern and we have measures in place to mitigate risks, including hand sanitiser stations and frequent sanitisation of tables and the bar area.

Our family used the club regularly when my father was alive. The club has moved with the times, there are 3 snooker tables and a pool table. A beautiful function room - and with the new houses built on the old allotments - the club has something for everyone - a crown green bowling pitch, allotments and a well-stocked bar, it's worth applying for membership if you are local.
